About
No Two Cycles was established in 2019 following my retirement from a really rewarding, 30-year career in the Royal Air Force. Throughout my career and indeed, life before that, adventure and endurance sports, especially cycling, have been a real theme.
From the early days as a teenager swapping my handlebars, or changing various components I’ve always been interested in bicycles, cycling and enjoying the great outdoors…and if I can help someone else do that too, all the better.
From fell-running and ultra-marathons, to UK Athletics coaching qualifications and Nordic cross-country skiing to mountain bike racing, cycle sportive and long-distance touring… I have a passion for being active.
As I competed less (just got older!), I wanted to remain involved in the sports I love; it was a natural step to undertake athletics and cycle coaching, and although no longer practicing, I hold a Professional Diploma in Sport Massage and Soft Tissue Therapy – it may not help me fix your bike, but with extensive knowledge of numerous endurance sports and the various cycling disciplines, combine that with an understanding the human body and postural assessment, not only will your bike be running well, but I can also help ensure it’s the correct fit and comfortable for you to enjoy.
No Two Cycles was established in early 2019 after formalising my skills with a Professional Level 3 Diploma in Cycle; the Level 3 Diploma is the highest attainable qualification in professional cycle maintenance in the country. The workshop is situated in the small Leicestershire village of Croxton Kerrial with the some fantastic cycling routes, both on and off-road, within a few pedal turns.
I look forward to seeing the business grow, either through the workshop – always a coffee on offer, or meeting fellow cyclists at some of the events I’ll be supporting.
